GO TEAM JACOB!

Ok! FINE! I succumbed the the temptation of TWILIGHT! I crumbled under pressure but it was worth it! I loved Twilight and New Moon. I'm about to pick up the other two books to read as soon as possible. BUT I am so obsessed with them now. I couldn't understand why everyone was crazy about Bella and Edward but now I see the light. I absolutely love the series and am so stoked about the books and I can't stop thinking about them. I think I'm annoying everyone who I talk to about them because I missed out on it when people were beginning to read them. I'm last season you could say. BUT GOODNESS! I love Bella, sometimes she reminds me of me when I was like 12-18 years of age. And I loved Edward up until the end of Twilight, I'm still a little upset with him, even after New Moon. AND I absolutely love Jacob. I think he is gorgeous and sweet. I think the Bella should go for him but I do understand that Edward tore her heart out and it's definitely hard to get over your first love. Anyways, I wanted to share my excitement about this series and yes, I would have normally waited for a few years for the hype to slow down but I got addicted after I saw the movie. GO TEAM JACOB!

MY 22nd BIRTHDAY!!
Yes it was my birthday Monday and no worries...I celebrated in style! Saturday morning, Mom and I went to What Women Want at the South Towne Expo. It was alright, a bunch of girly stuff that we weren't interested in. Home made head bands and bags and makeup and jewerly and blah blah blah. But mom bought me a pair of cute heels and we both won pedicures from Echelon Edge. FUN! And plenty of free chapsticks but I have been wanting for a long time. YEAH! Saturday night Nick and I went to dinner with Dad and Linda at the Bayou. It was alright food but great conversation! It was fun reminiscing about my childhood with dad. How we would play the card game golf and I would cheat everytime he would go to the kitchen. Or the time when Kirby and I threw water balloons at each other when we were visiting dad at Gma Darlene's house. And the many times we went camping. Good memories! It's interesting to get his side of the story when I was raised only knowing my mom's. Afterwards Nick and I went to the Huka with Sarah and Austin...good times. We danced and laughed at all the people who were trying to pick up other people. It's awesome having a great guy because all the other guys were complete retards. HAHAHA! Then Sunday, Nick and I took Le Bus to Wendover. Not as much fun as you would think! After walking around being bored, occasionally hitting the machines but not really that interested we went across the street and played on the local playground. It was fun taking pictures with my new camera that Nick gave me for my b-day. Then we hit the buffet and oh did we enjoy ourselves! It was alright, probably won't ever do that again and probably means never. But it was fun hanging out with Nick. I love that boy! Monday I got a pedi/manicure with mom and then we saw "Forever Strong" with Gma Gina. It was cheesy but the main actor was a hottie! HAHAHA~ And it was cool to see that it was Mormon based and filmed in Utah! Afterwards Nick and I went shopping at Wally's and made delicious dinner and watched a movie. Overall the best birthday in a really long time. Got some money, sweet shoes, an amazing camera and a massage! Thanks everyone for being awesome and showing me that you care! LOVES!

One Year Anniversary

Nick and I had our one year anniversary on Tuesday. It was such an incredible day! We started out with my surprise plans for the first half of the day and Nick got to plan the second half. We went to Einstein Bagels (Nick's breakfast) and got Jamba Juice. Delicious! He went to class then when he came back we went to get 90 minute massages at Massage Envy. He had never had a massage before and absolutely loved it! It was definitely relaxing! Afterwards, Nick took a nap while I got all dolled up. Nick said I could dress up for his part of the date. I had this gorgeous black dress and black heels. My hair was done with ringlets and I wore my diamond necklace and earrings. He said we'd leave at 6pm. Well when we walked out to the car there was this white stretch limo in front waiting for us! I have never been in a limo before. It was awesome! The limo driver took us to this cute little italian dive and the food was delicious! I got Ahi Tuna with spaghetti but obviously it was a mouth full to even request it. Nick got lamb loin with mash potatoes. It was so good! The waitress was upset because we didn't want to order dessert which would have been another $20 for a berry on a small scoop of ice cream! But it was really romantic. Then we got back into the limo and the driver took us all over the valley! It was so much fun. And during the ride we exchanged cards. I gave him mine first and of course he loved it and then I got mine. It was so romantic and when I was finished Nick gave me a small box that would only contain a precious ring. I opened it and there it was...this gorgeous promise ring. So pretty! I quickly accepted! It's so perfect! I'm the luckiest girl ever! I love that man so much! Yeah me!

Potterwatch

So I finally finished the seventh book of Harry Potter last night. It was so intense, my heart was pounding so hard while reading the last two chapters. It was awesome! You might have figured by now but I am a late bloomer with the Potter books. I didn't want to be apart of the fad that was going on a few years ago but my boyfriend convinced me to start reading them six months ago and I haven't been able to put them down. I definitely enjoyed how it ended and I can't wait to have a Harry Potter movie marathon! Everybody is invited! I love them all!

My baby, Carmel

So in March, Nick and I got a kitten, she was five weeks old at the time. Well, that was too young and she's become really agressive and we had no idea what was upsetting her. One day on the web I looked up the causes and one reason would be that she was weined to early from her mother, which causes aggressiveness. WELL, funny story! I took her to the humane society to get spayed and dropped her off. Later that day I went to pick her up. When they asked me who I was picking up I replied, "Carmel." They all gasped in the office. Obviously, she had been a terror to them. One of the girls said she climbed to the top of her cage and would swat at people walking by and hissed at them. It was hilarious to me because I already knew her temper. HAHAHA! But here is a picture of my lil sweetheart. Really, she is super sweet with me but whenever we have friends over she'll hiss and grawl at everyone and she'll be completely put out at Nick and I too! It's hilarious! She looks all sweet and innocent, buy oh no! She's got some rage!
